Congratulations to our client, Mater Private Network on achieving Runner Up in the most trusted website category of the National Digital Awards 2024.

Materprivate.ie was launched at the end of 2021 and was the first in a series of patient-focused projects planned by Mater Private Network which also include PERL, their ground-breaking patient-record digitalisation project designed to enhance patient safety and streamline patient care.

The organisations shortlisted for the most trusted website award had to demonstrate how they exemplified trust across the areas of innovation, compliance, design, user journey, content, overall communications and conversions.

In Mater Private Network’s case, this was straightforward, as their values are all centred around one core value - Trust - and this value and associated internal culture, frames every decision and action the organisation takes.

In the case of the website, its stated purpose is to 'deliver the best possible digital experience to patients and referrers.

How does the website do this?

The new website reversed its previous location-based structure, and built the new one around the patient and their needs. Patients now choose their service and are then offered alternative locations where they can attend for that service. Healthcare jargon is avoided and all services are explained in full (What to Expect). Patients can also access a new health information section to learn more about their condition, treatment options and other health-related advice. Each landing page, and each type of content page (services, consultants, locations…) follows a standard structure so that visitors can easily find what they are looking for.
